Applications are invited from various artists of UP for the following scheme on the prescribed form by the Directorate of Culture:-
Elderly and indigent artists, artists of repute who have exhibited art for a minimum of 10 years in the relevant art form/field and whose age is not less than 60 years and whose income (Rs. 2000/- per month) is not more than Rs. 24000.00 per annum. (Income certificate should be attested by Tehsildar and High School certificate for age certificate issued by Chief Medical Officer will be acceptable).
The application for the scheme is to be sent on the prescribed form mentioned below clearly indicating the desired instructions. These applications will be accepted only on the prescribed form by the Directorate. The application form along with necessary certificates should be submitted to "Directorate of Culture, UP 9th Floor, Jawahar Bhawan, Lucknow, Pin Code-226001" after being recommended/forwarded by District Magistrate/District Information Officer. Last date for submission of application form is 20th August, 2021. Incomplete and late applications without the recommendation of the authorized officer will not be considered.
